Description

Cozen O'Connor's Private Client Services group is looking for an associate with at least two years of litigation experience in Pennsylvania state courts to join the Philadelphia office.  The ideal candidate will have experience drafting pleadings and briefs, handling discovery and document review (including e-discovery), and must have solid research skills.  Experience with fiduciary litigation and estates and trusts is preferred but not required.  Candidates with deposition, trial preparation, and motions practice is a plus.  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with trial practice, the rules of civil procedure, the Pennsylvania Orphans' Court Rules, and the rules of evidence.  Admission to Pennsylvania bar required; New Jersey and New York bar admission would be a bonus.

This is a unique opportunity in the firm’s national fiduciary litigation practice group where clients range from world-class corporate fiduciaries and financial institutes to high and ultra-high net worth individuals.  The associate will assume major responsibility on complex, high-stakes cases and will have the opportunity for significant trial and courtroom experience.
