Job Details
Conduct internal corporate and government investigations.
Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employmentrelated claims and agency charges.
Defend against wage and hour matters, including collective and class actions.
Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations.
Assist in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions.
Defend unfair labor practice filings at the NLRB and improper practice charges at PERB.
Advise clients on FMLA, ADA, ADEA, NYS Civil Service Law, and religious accommodation requests.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission).
Minimum of 3–5 years of labor and employment law experience.
Demonstrated experience handling investigations and litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and exercise sound judgment.
Commitment to client service and the highest ethical standards.
