Tenet Health is actively interviewing Anatomic Pathologists to join the Valley Baptist Hospital System in Harlingen, Texas.

This role offers the opportunity to engage in a full spectrum of diagnostic pathology services across multiple Rio Grande Valley locations including Valley Baptist Medical Centers in Harlingen and Brownsville Texas. Directorship opportunity is available to those with the experience and/or desire to build a pathology service line.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, 1.0 FTE | Monday-Friday schedule

• Anatomic Pathology Diagnostic Service, including:

• Frozen section/intraoperative consultations

• Subspecialty Case Review: interpretation of surgical pathology specimens

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD/DO and State of Texas Medical License upon start

• American Board of Pathology certified (or eligible) in Anatomic Pathology

• Sub-specialization in Cytopathology, Surgical Pathology, or Gastroenterology is preferred, but not required

• Spanish speaking is a plus
