- California - Mid-Senior Level Appellate Associate
Description
Fisher Phillips is seeking Appellate Attorneys with at least four years of experience. Qualified candidates will have successfully briefed and argued appeals before the Ninth Circuit and California appellate courts. They should also have experience assisting trial counsel during all phases of the litigation process in preserving and developing issues for appellate review.
Prior federal or state appellate clerkship experience is preferred, as is some prior experience with labor and employment law. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, outstanding writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative setting.
A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required. While we will consider qualified candidates located outside California, admission to the California Bar is required.

The yearly salary range for this position is $220,000 – $260,000+. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
