- Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics

The Department of Restorative Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine is searching for a full-time Program Director at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position will also have an administrative appointment as the Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing all clinical and didactic training of prosthodontic postdoctoral residents; development and management of prosthodontic postdoctoral curricula; management of patient care and electronic health records of the prosthodontic postdoctoral clinic; mentoring residents in achieving diplomate status with American Board of Prosthodontics; and active participation in resident’s research. Requirements for this position include: a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent and a certificate of advanced specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA accredited program; candidate must be a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and be eligible for a New Jersey State dental license. The preferred candidate will be a nationally recognized leader with diversified talents in the areas of teaching, patient care, and research and have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience. Experience as a Director of a postgraduate program or teaching experience in such a program is required. The position will remain open until filled. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
