At Lenoir City Animal Clinic, we know that Licensed Veterinary Technicians are essential to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. We're seeking a full-time LVT to join our team—someone with a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient advocacy and team collaboration.
This role is ideal for an experienced, fully licensed technician (3-5+ years preferred) who is confident in their technical abilities and ready to make a meaningful impact in a high-performing general practice. If you're looking for a hospital that values your license, invests in your continued education, and prioritizes a culture of teamwork—you've found it.
What You'll Do as an LVT:
- Lead or assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia induction, monitoring, recovery, and pain management
- Perform in-house diagnostics: blood draws, urinalysis, fecal testing, cytology, and radiographs
- Administer IV/SQ/IM/oral medications, manage fluid therapy, and provide advanced nursing care
- Triage, assess, and monitor patients in both routine and urgent care settings
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant medical records
- Support the implementation of fear-free handling techniques
- Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members and assistant staff
✅ What You'll Need:
- Active LVT license (Tennessee) or ability to obtain prior to start
- 3-5+ years of experience as a credentialed technician in a clinical setting
- Confidence in working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced practice
- Strong communication skills with both clients and clinical team members
- Passion for veterinary medicine, learning, and advocating for best patient outcomes
What We Offer (Because You Deserve It):
As part of the Innovetive Petcare network, full-time LVTs gain access to industry-leading benefits and professional development resources:
- Head Start Program - Financial assistance for student loan repayment for those who completed their LVT/CVT/RVT program within the last 3 years
- Licensure Support - We help cover licensure and renewal fees, plus access to CE and skill-building opportunities to maintain your credentials
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays (time and a half on federally recognized holidays)
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support mental and emotional wellbeing
- Generous pet care discounts
- A culture that advocates for LVT utilization—because we know your license means more than just initials after your name
