A facility in southern Colorado has an opportunity for an OB/GYN to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 8a-5p in clinic + call
• Annual Volume: ~400 deliveries
• Daily Volume: 15 patients in clinic, ~1 callback
• Full-scope OB/GYN
• Support Staff: Midwives, MAs, RN
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, drive a scenic mountain loop, hike above the tree line on rugged trails, and soak in natural mineral hot springs surrounded by valley views.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered OB/GYN Colorado state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as OB/GYN
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
