Description
Join Riverside Health System at Warwick Forest Assisted Living, a premier senior living community nestled along the Newport News and York County line. Since 1988, Warwick Forest has been dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care in a vibrant, community-centered environment. As the Assisted Living Administrator, you'll lead efforts to enrich residents' lives, uphold high standards of care, and contribute to the strategic vision of Riverside Health System.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborative Leadership: Coordinate with various departments to develop, evaluate, and refine resident care programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our residents.
- Community Engagement: Facilitate at least two marketing events annually to strengthen community ties and promote the services offered at Warwick Forest.
- Occupancy Management: Implement strategies to meet and exceed occupancy targets, ensuring a thriving community.
- Quality Assurance: Drive continuous improvement in resident care delivery, aligning with patient safety standards and the Riverside Code of Conduct.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local survey requirements, maintaining exceptional audit readiness.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, operating ratios, and other financial indicators to meet organizational objectives.
- Team Communication: Host regular town hall meetings to keep team members informed and inspired. Regular team member 1:1’s.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience — 5 years commensurate experience accepted).
- Experience: Proven supervisory and leadership experience, with recent relevant background in senior living or related healthcare services.
- Skills: Strong operational leadership, financial management, regulatory compliance knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal communication.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Assisted Living Facility Administrator or Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (Virginia Department of Health Professions) within 120 days of hire.
- LPN Virginia Department of Health Professions
- CPR/BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or ASHI) within 30 days of hire.
