Description
Ascension Living is seeking an experienced full time BC/BE Medical Director (Geriatrician, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) for its PACE facility on the northwest side of Indianapolis. PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. It is a wrap-around care model helping medically and socially complex individuals, who would otherwise require nursing home care, live in their homes as long as possible. PACE integrates and coordinates care for participants across ALL settings including medications, transportation and meals. Candidates must be mission minded to serve all persons with special attention to the poor and vulnerable. Once fully staffed the clinic will have 2 MD's and 2 APP's.
Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, Limited Call

Minimal travel to skilled nursing facilities
Plan and direct medical policies and programs. Define and achieve financial targets in support of business goals; evaluate organizational functions and structure to best determine the allocation and utilization of services.
Facilitate strategic clinical relationships with physicians.
Work with leadership to develop a strategic plan for growth of clinical practice.
Ensure that clinical programs are in compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements.
Implement utilization review and quality improvement systems. Implement educational programs and offerings.
May provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
Prepare annual operating budget for assigned service areas.
Consult with planning and operations leadership in new program development. Supervise any assigned medical/resident programs.
