Reports To: Campaign Manager

Allred for Texas is seeking an experienced National Finance Director to join a growing team. The National Finance Director will lead the Finance team, working with the Candidate, and Campaign Manager to oversee all aspects of the campaign’s fundraising and develop the campaign’s in-state and national presence.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Campaign Manager and finance consulting team to develop and execute an in-state and national finance program
• Hiring and daily management of finance team; including implementing appropriate tracking and reporting to monitor team’s progress to meet quarterly goals
• Update the candidate and senior staff on fundraising program and incoming revenue on a daily basis
• Management of finance consultant relationships/programs—including working with them to set goals and monitoring their progress to achieving those goals for individual fundraising, direct mail, and online fundraising programs
• Working with the finance team to create and oversee in state and national events programs, including staffing events when needed
• Work with Compliance Consultants to oversee campaign fundraising compliance programs and systems
• Maintaining relationships with key raisers and finance committee leadership
• Oversee the candidates fundraising schedule
• Staff events and call time as necessary

Requirements

• At least three cycles of campaign fundraising experience with progressive job growth, with at least one cycle of Federal experience
• Experience in finance plan oversight and cash flow management, as well as event management and programmatic fundraising pieces
• Experiencing managing multi-level teams of both full-time staff and consultants
• Prior working experience with NGP 8 & ActBlue
• Strong writing, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work
• Flexible and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel in-state and nationally as needed
• Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation

Compensation: $10,000 - $12,500 per month, plus health and dental insurance
