JobSummary:
The Turnaround Lead manages the execution of Turnaround (TAR)activities for the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) offshore facilities, taking them fromconception through final execution. It includes Turnaround (TAR) up to $10MM.The TAR covers a wide range of variability from piping modifications andadditions, vessels cleaning and inspections, valve maintenance and/orreplacement as well as integrity scopes. These scopes address varied businessobjectives such as environmental compliance, safety risk reduction, maintenance,and operability. The Turnaround Lead works closely with multiple Hessstakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Integrity, Global Supply Chain,and Regulatory to deliver successful projects. This role will be based inHouston, TX, reporting to the Manager MR&I Projects. Offshore visits willbe required during TAR planning and execution phases.
JobDuties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage theentire Turnaround effort/development consistent with defined process, approvedTAR premise, objectives, and work list.
• Safely develop andexecute turnarounds.
• Manage interactiveplanning and work list development sessions.
• Develop andmaintain operating rhythm to ensure deliverables are routinely achieved.
• Schedule,facilitate and document STO planning meetings
• Organizes and leadsgate reviews including document collection required for these reviews
• Ensure budgetedTurnarounds are delivered safely on time, on budget with completed CoS(conditions of satisfaction)
• Perform TAR/outagereadiness assessments and implement gap-closure plans, as needed.
• Responsible forproviding leadership, oversight and direction to the TAR team.
• Provide routine TARupdates and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Ensure EHSrequirements are continuously embedded in the Turnaround work process.
• Capture, discussand facilitate TAR Lessons Learned
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Basicor Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum ten years of applicable experiencesuccessfully managing turnarounds/outages offshore as well as projectmanagement and/or engineering experience;
• Able to perform multiple tasks in parallelwhile leading shifting priorities;
• Must be able to understand business issues anddirect favorable outcomes;
• Ability to energize others, ability to actcritically and deliver results;
• Knowledge of work management system,corrective/preventive maintenance planning, turnaround/outage planning;
• Knowledge of typical offshore project frontend deliverables;
• Project management skills including ability toorganize, plan and deliver results per a business timeline;
• Knowledge of project cost estimating,scheduling, and risk assessment;
• Ability to apply sound, independent judgmentand be decisive to determine a course of action consistent with an establishedproject framework;
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal andwritten), including the ability to develop technical reports and presentations;
• Ability to manage external constructionservices;
• Ability to work effectively under stress andtime pressures.
PreferredQualifications
• Knowledge of construction best practices andoffshore facilities standards and design methods is a plus.
WorkingConditions:
• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasionaltravel to off-site work locations;
• Field duties require outdoor work in aconstruction site type atmosphere;
• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;
• Working on a construction site or in plantand/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;
• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes;
• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.

• Must be able to lift and carry five (20)pounds;
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing orother communication capabilities which permits employee to communicateeffectively;
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;

• Sufficient manual dexterity which permit theemployee to perform routine office duties;
• Sufficient personal mobility and physicalreflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-sitelocations.
