Why we need you:
ASA is always working to expand our clientele services. However, to expand our network of clients we must establish a strong organizational structure internally. With your help, we are able to administer and manage tasks within the team. Additionally, you’ll help evaluate and reflect upon past events so that we can provide future services more optimally.

Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Organize & manage the [email protected] email, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.
- Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and convert meeting action items to the appropriate parties in Slack.
- Respond to Slack messages within 24 hours.
- Respond to emails within 24 hours, and arrange for backup coverage during busy periods.
- Manage staff and intern data.
- Hiring, Onboarding, and Offboarding Process Support
- Track candidates, maintain candidate communications, and assist with scheduling candidate interviews.
- Edit internship contracts.
- Confirm start and end dates.
- Review and update onboarding and offboarding process documents.
- Schedule onboarding meetings with the operations manager and CEO.
- Review & update the exit interview template.
- Schedule exit interviews with the operations manager & CEO.
- Prepare end-of-contract announcement & farewell.
Miscellaneous
- Create graphics and advertisements for events and programs via Canva.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have valid work status (U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents can disregard this). We will not be able to sponsor you for any other type of visa, e.g. H-1B.
- You may use your OPT (optional practical training) hours with us.
- We will not be able to pay for any costs associated with work status and eligibility.
- You may first need approval from your school and/or the U.S. Government before interning with us. Please take care of this before interviewing with us.
- Commit to a minimum of 8 months for the internship with the possibility of extension or promotion
- Commit to a minimum of 10 hours a week to assigned tasks, meetings, and ASA events (we will reimburse you for any required travel).
- Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Basic networking skills and command of conversational skills for interaction with clients and teammates in remote settings.
- Basic sales skills or ability to learn quickly.
- Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google productivity software.
- Be organized with attention to detail.
Non-compete clause: While working for ASA, you are not allowed to work as a volunteer, part-time, or full-time employee with any competing organization or company that offers our business plan.
Preferred
- Any prior internship experience(s) or similar part-time job(s).
