Description
The American Welding Society (AWS) seeks a part-time outside sales representative for JobsInWelding.com, the Society’s online job board. The outside sales representative will be responsible for generating new business in the North American market by selling job posting packages, featured listings, and related advertising products to employers in the welding and related industries. This role focuses on proactive outreach, relationship building, and consultative selling to help employers connect with qualified candidates while driving revenue growth for the platform. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-driven professional with experience in B2B sales, preferably in job board, recruitment, or industry-related advertising. This is a part-time, no benefits, commissions-based position.
Requirements
Proven success in B2B sales with measurable results in revenue generation.
Experience selling job postings, recruitment solutions, or advertising products.
Strong prospecting skills, including cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers in welding, manufacturing, or related industries.
Skilled in consultative selling, identifying client needs, and tailoring solutions.
Self-motivated with the discipline to work independently in a commission-only structure.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with the welding, skilled trades, or industrial sector is a plus.
Comfortable working with flexible scheduling.
