Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physician

The Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Prisma Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in the newly established Sickle Cell Center of Excellence. This physician will provide high-quality, comprehensive clinical care for patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to clinical care, research, education, and community engagement within a leading institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for patients with SCD as physician staff of the Sickle Cell Center of Excellence.
• Participate in the management of the SCD inpatient consult service.
• Provide call coverage for the inpatient SCD consult service on a rotating schedule as deemed necessary. 
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (dedicated social work, psychology, nurse navigation, and physicians) to address the unique needs of the SCD patient population.
• Provide necessary coverage for patients with hematologic conditions as deemed appropriate by physician leadership.
