Opportunity InformationNeurologist, EMG trained- Berkeley, CA
Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking to hire a full time Neurologist with specific EMG training to join a established group of Neurologist serving the San Francisco East Bay Region.
The Neurology division of SEBMG provides Neurology consultation and ongoing care for a diverse patient population in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. The preferred clinician is comfortable with a range of general neurologic disorders with additional fellowship level training in EMG. The primary office location is in Berkeley though 1 or 2 days per week in one of the other East Bay sites for Electrodiagnostic services.
• The position is 0.8-1.0 FTE
• Primarily ambulatory clinic position
• Group call is only telephonic and shared between 5 neurologists
• Neurology hospital consultation service is occasional only although a hybrid outpatient/inpatient general neurology option is available if desired.
• 1 to 2 days in the Antioch office and - 2-3 clinic days in Berkeley (specialty hub)

• Each clinician has 1:1 MA support
• RN support for specific services
Qualifications
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology is required
• Graduate of an Electrophysiology or Neuromuscular fellowship with training/experience in electrodiagnostic and board certification of eligibility is required
• Possess an active and unrestricted California Medical License
• Current DEA license
• While prior experience is desirable, new grads are welcome to apply

The listed range is solely base compensation for full time (1.0 FTE) clinicians. It does not include incentives and benefits. The base compensation rate may be adjusted based on training, experience, community need and other possible determining components.
