Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Pittsburgh office for an associate in the Real Estate department. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of commercial real estate or corporate transactional experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and writing skills required.
• A strong academic record and prior real estate or corporate transactional law experience required.
• Experience in negotiating, drafting and closing corporate or real estate transactions.
• Experience with commercial real estate or corporate finance, including loans, syndications and grants.
• Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and a long-term interest in growing with and contributing to the development of the practice.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Visual Acuity

• Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
