Position Highlights:
- Sign-on Bonus: This job qualifies for up to $20,000 sign-on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements.
- Shift Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week, (7p-7a or 7a-7p)

Position Will Require Floating Within the Wake Region:
- Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (Winston-Salem, NC)
- Davie Medical Center (Bermuda Run, NC)
- Wilkes Medical Center (North Wilkesboro, NC)
- High Point Medical Center (High Point, NC)
- Lexington Medical Center (Lexington, NC)
What You'll Need:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
- 2 years of nursing experience in specialty area required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire for Adult Critical Care, Adult ED
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire for Network ED, Peds ED, PICU and NICU, and other areas per unit guidelines
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
What You'll Do:
- Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the actual or potential diagnoses, problem, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Practice ethically.
- Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Lead within the professional practice setting and the profession .Seek knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristic thinking.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.
- Contribute to quality nursing practice.
- Evaluate one's own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations.
- Utilize appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible.
- Practice in an environmentally safe and healthy manner.
- Participate in committees, shared governance, or facility decision making activities, developing and nurturing research to positively affect clinical outcomes and promotion.

Physical Requirements:
- Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in good, understandable terms.
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch. Finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing required.
