Description: This is a 12-hour shift 3 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 07:00-19:30, total of 36 hours per week. RN CVOR with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) along with 2 professional references. Work Location: 1000 4th St. SW, Mason City, IA, 50401. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $68.79/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $53.96/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr. Local rate below 60 miles: $54.38 and Non local reward: $6.88/hr.\n

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered RN CVOR Iowa state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN CVOR program
• One year of work experience as RN CVOR
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
