Description: This is a 12-hour shift three days each week, with the shift schedule being from 07:00-19:30, total of 36 hours per week. RN ECMO with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification along with 2 professional references. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $78.62/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $60.70/hr, along with a per diem of $17.92/hr. Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Internal Medicine Missouri state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

Responsibilities:

.The RN ECMO Specialist performs Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy to support patients with impaired heart and lung function. The RN serves as an advocate for patients and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Prepare and operate clinical equipment and circuitry per ECMO policies.
• Maintain and assess ECMO circuit function.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and recommend revisions to the multidisciplinary care team.
