Description
Description: This is a 8-hour shift 5 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 08:00-17:00 total of 40 hours per week. RN Risk Manager with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, along with 2 professional references. The all-inclusive hourly pay rate for this position is $55.69/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $32.61/hr, along with a per diem of $23.08/hr. Work Location: 1055 N. Curtis Rd, Boise, ID, 83706.\nSummary:

Shift timings: 08:00-17:00 Monday to friday
Per week: 40 Hours
Would end when the FT position is filled Unknown time frame - anticipate 6+ months 40 hrs/wk 8a-5p Possibly participate in Risk on call rotation every 4th week Holiday Rotation- would be off Epic
Rate: $55.69 / hour
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered RN Risk Manager Idaho state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN Risk Manager program
- One year of work experience as RN Risk Manager
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

\n• \nCoordinating our risk management program to meet our institution's needs.
\n• \nReviewing and analyzing occurrence reports related to risk management, quality of care, regulatory issues, and insurance concerns.
\n• \nConducting investigations of incidents that need to be reported to the authorities.
\n• \nPerforming Root Cause Analysis investigations and working with departments and clinical chairpersons for peer reviews.
\n• \nMaintaining our risk management information system database.
\n• \nPreparing incident summary reports and providing all necessary documentation for investigations and resolutions.
\n• \nFacilitating the peer review process and ensuring safety solutions are implemented.
\n• \nIdentifying organizational risks through trend analysis.
\n• \nCollaborating with on-site investigators and participating in risk management assessments.
\n• \nActing as a resource person and presenting risk management issues for discussion and evaluation.
\n• \nKeeping up to date with regulatory requirements related to risk management.
\n• \nResponding to inquiries regarding reports and professional liability matters.
\n• \nBeing available on-call to field inquiries from our staff outside of normal business hours.
\n• \nParticipating in committees focused on promoting quality of care.
\n• \nAssisting in the development of educational programs to raise staff awareness of risk exposure and professional liability.
