Description: This is a 12-hour shift 3 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 19:00-07:30 total of 36 hours per week. RN Step Down with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) . Work Location: 1000 4th St. SW, Mason City, IA, 50401. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $55.03/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $40.20/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr . Local rate (Below 60 Miles):$45.86/hr

Rate: $45.86 / hour

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse state license or compact license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
• Two years of work experience as Registered Nurse
• One year of Epic experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing (RN)

Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
