Vice President, Client Services
Primary Purpose: Serve as the leader for Client Services across a designated region in our Workforce Absence business unit, driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and business growth through innovative leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Champion regional business planning and budgeting, aligning client services with long-term growth objectives.
- Lead talent strategy including succession planning, bench-strength development, and workforce scaling for new business opportunities.
- Cultivate high-impact executive relationships internally and externally to unlock strategic partnerships and expand service capabilities.
Client & Contract Management
- Own the client lifecycle-ensuring contract compliance, proactive renewal management, and negotiation of new agreements.
- Maintain deep client intelligence, identifying at-risk relationships and implementing retention strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, resolving escalations and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
Financial & Operational Excellence
- Oversee regional financial performance including pricing strategy, invoicing accuracy, and receivables management.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and quality standards, embedding compliance into daily operations.
- Drive operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
Business Development Enablement
- Partner with business development teams to identify growth opportunities and support strategic pursuits.
- Represent Client Services in cross-functional initiatives, influencing product, technology, and operational roadmaps.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in enterprise-wide quality programs and initiatives.
- Travel as needed to support client engagements and team development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance preferred. Advance degree with professional designation (i.e. CPCU, AIC, ARM) preferred.
Experience
Ten (10) years related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required to include three (3) years Area Account Executive experience on national accounts and five (5) years claims/supervisory experience.
