Under the direction of the COO, this role is responsible for the overall physician and provider recruitment strategy and implementation of the strategy for NVISION Eye Centers
Essential Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Develops, maintains and manages the activities related to the full Provider Recruitment Cycle, including sourcing, screening, and employment
- Call physicians to proactively source viable candidates
- Build relationships with physicians via phone, email marketing, targeted reaches out on social media, etc. regarding locums' assignments.)
- Design recruiting initiatives aimed at area residency programs; develop and maintain relationships with targeted residency programs
- Update Senior leadership team consistently with recruitment-related activity
- Responsible for ensuring an ongoing viable candidate pool for growth and replacement positions
- Perform extensive outreach/cold calls to develop relationships with doctors
- Collaborate with support teams to help your candidates move through the recruitment process (licensing, credentialing, certifications, education, references, malpractice evaluation, background verification, and travel arrangements)
- Manage multiple requisitions and always provide a “white glove” candidate experience
- Work closely with the onboarding and operations team to ensure a smooth transition for new physician hires
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Provider Recruitment
- Bachelor’s degree from four -year accredited college or university
- Proven track record of success with ability to work independently
- Able and willing to travel as required to attend conferences, interview candidates, etc. (expected to be up to 25% travel)
