Build a Specialty Service That Reflects the Way You Practice Medicine
Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists (VCVS) is seeking board-certified or residency-trained ACVIM specialists in Internal Medicine and Cardiology to join our growing specialty and emergency hospital in Austin, Texas.
Whether you’re an internist looking to build a comprehensive Internal Medicine service or a cardiologist interested in expanding advanced cardiac care, you’ll find the autonomy, collaboration, and support needed to build a thriving specialty practice.
As Austin’s only privately owned specialty and emergency hospital, we offer specialists something increasingly rare—the opportunity to shape how a service grows while practicing alongside a collaborative team that values exceptional medicine, innovation, and work-life balance.
If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love the opportunity to build a specialty service my way,” we’d love to connect.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Most specialty opportunities fall into one of two categories:
- Walking into an established service with limited flexibility or influence.
- Joining a large corporate system where major decisions are made far from the exam room.
VCVS offers something different.
As a privately owned specialty hospital, our specialists have direct access to leadership and meaningful influence over how services are developed, supported, and expanded.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build and grow a specialty service with long-term vision.
- Influence workflow, scheduling, and clinical protocols.
- Develop referral relationships throughout Central Texas.
- Collaborate daily with Emergency, Surgery, Oncology, and future specialty services.
- Help guide future equipment purchases and specialty expansion.
- Practice in one of the fastest-growing veterinary referral markets in Texas.
Your expertise won’t simply be appreciated—it will help shape the future of our hospital.
